SAVE THE DATE! ASB’s 12th Annual Fall Social

SAVE THE DATE! Join us for ASB’s twelfth Annual Fall Social on Saturday November 8th at the Flatbush Complex. Our feature country this year is Cambodia, with guest speaker Michelle Gietz, representative of the County of Newell’s Agriculture Project in Cambodia.

Come experience Cambodian culture, cuisine, and much MUCH more! Don’t miss this educational and entertaining annual event!!

Christmas Craft Day Registration

Registration for our Christmas Craft Day is Saturday October 25th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Flatbush Complex (upstairs in the playschool room).

Christmas Craft Day will be held on Saturday November 22nd. Unleash your imagination and enjoy a day of creativity, friendship, and getting a head start on your holiday projects!!

PUBLIC NOTICE: Hazard Reduction Burns

Because of the warm fall weather FireSmart and ESRD crews are out doing hazard reduction burns. They will continue to do so while the weather supports the burning. This is normally done in the spring but conditions are favourable now. For further information, please contact Joe Gorzeman at 780-849-0945.

Pay Your Property Tax on a Monthly Basis!

The Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) is a program available to Municipal District residents, which allows you to pay your property tax on a monthly basis (rather than
in a lump-sum payment!). Arrangements must be made prior to January 1st 2015. Some conditions apply.

Office Closure [Remembrance Day]: LSLR Waste Management Facility

Please note that the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Waste Management Facility, in Wagner, will be closed on Tuesday November 11th in recognition of Remembrance Day.

We will be open for our regular business hours on Saturday, November 8th from 9am to 5pm and Wednesday, November 12th from 10am to 6pm. We appreciate your patronage and understanding in our recognizing this special day.
