20th Annual Slave Lake Christmas Bird Count

Help bird conservation by joining us for the 20th Annual Slave Lake Christmas Bird Count on Saturday December 20th. Each year, local enthusiasts head out to count all the wintering birds around Slave Lake on one day. Think of it as a birding scavenger hunt! Data collected from our Slave Lake Christmas Bird Count plus over 2,000 other Christmas Bird Counts across North America help researchers get an annual snapshot of the health of our wintering bird populations.
