Count Yourself In! 2014 Municipal Census

THE 2014 MUNICIPAL CENSUS IS MAY 1 TO JUNE 30, 2014.

For your convenience, the Municipal District is providing two ways for you to Count Yourself In: online and by door-to-door Census Takers. Every dwelling that completes their Municipal Census online before May 15th will be eligible to win a 16GB iPad Mini with Retina Display, Wi-Fi + cellular.

WILDFIRE LEGACY CORPORATION. The Slave Lake Wildfire Legacy Centre project is the product of a partnership among the Town of Slave Lake, the Sawridge First Nation, the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River, the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #379 and the Slave Lake Child Care Society.

We invite you to serve as a Public Director on the Wildfire Legacy Corporation Board for a one (1) year term. You will work with the Legacy Centre Board in the planning, development and operations of the new Legacy Centre. Application deadline is 9:00am Tuesday April 22nd.

Honouring the Fire Round Dance

Sawridge First Nation, the Town of Slave Lake and the Municipal District welcome everyone to the Honouring the Fire Round Dance on Saturday May 10th at the Multi Rec Centre in Slave Lake.

Those who were impacted by the fire are encouraged to come heal through Drum and Song. Special invite to First Responders and Fire Fighters.
