WASTE & RECYCLING | REGIONAL LANDFILL/TRANSFER STATIONS: HOURS & LOCATIONS
The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River operates three transfer sites and one landfill facility at various locations throughout the municipality. These facilities are intended to provide a means for residents to recycle or dispose of household solid waste. Site schedules may vary during major holidays, please call ahead for holiday hours and closures.

Marten Beach Transfer Site
Located adjacent to Municipal Office in the Marten Beach subdivision

Smith Transfer Site
Located adjacent to Municipal Office in the Hamlet of Smith

Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to closing, depending on load size, to allow time for sorting and unloading. All loads must be covered or secured. Operators have the right to refuse any load.
