Whether spring cleaning, moving, or just reducing clutter, many residents may find themselves with unwanted household items that are too good to waste.
The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River is committed to offering residents options to increase their reuse and recycling efforts, conserve natural resources, and divert waste from local landfills. The "Take it or Leave it" program provides residents with a convenient location where they can drop off a variety of useful items such as furniture, toys, books, décor, and other household or kitchen items.
Unwanted items can be dropped off at one of the designated "Take it or Leave it" buildings located at the Lesser Slave Regional Waste Facility, Smith Transfer Station, or Flatbush Transfer Station.
