Fire Services Update

The Lesser Slave River Regional Fire Service is committed to protecting life, property and the environment from fire, hazardous materials, natural disasters and other emergencies. As such, the department issues a weekly report on all investigations, fire prevention activities and other Fire Services news of importance to the residents of the Lesser Slave River region.

  • Assisted with Roland Michener Joh Prep – Confined Space Training
  • Final Inspections of North Star Inn
  • Assisted with clean up and moving of Warehouse bunker gear room
  • Assisted with clean up and organization of maintenance area
  • Alberta Fire Training Officer’s Conference call
  • Friendship center follow up inspection
  • Flatbush car fire & Lynwood Trailer fire investigations complete
  • Ordered Pump Operator exams
  • Slave Lake helicopters pre fire inspection
  • Plow Snow Hall 1, 2 & 5

  • Flatbush- Single vehicle rollover
  • Widewater pick up vs log truck
  • Winter kits for trucks delivered
  • Job Prep, Confined Space assisted training
  • Assisted Alex with hotel inspection prior to re-opening
  • BA bottles sent out for Hydro
  • Visited all halls, cleaned and dropped off supplies
  • Probationary FF test completed in Mitsue
  • Assisted with clearing snow at WW & Mitsue
  • Worked with I am Responding program to get the scheduling function working
