The municipality will be carrying out annual maintenance of the water distribution lines from May 1st to May 30th in teh hamlets of Southshore, Mitsue and Smith.
You may notice a slight pressure drop and/or short-term discoloration of your water during this maintenance procedure. The water is safe and there are no health concerns.

NEWS RELEASE SOUTHSHORE WASTEWATER HOOK-UPS Issued: May 4, 2010 Spring has sprung and work has begun once more on the Wastewater Project for Widewater, Wagner, and Nine Mile Point. In addition to finishing the remaining 30% of the Collector Lines Project, the Municipal District will be tendering the residential hook-up component in May for summer construction commencement.
Please mark your calendars for an information meeting on the project, residential hook-ups, costs, financing, etc. at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Widewater Complex.

You are invited to the Smith Fall Fair to experience what it would be like to be a Motor Grader Operator and meet the municipal employees who operate the equipment. The Public Works department is putting on a display with a
Caterpillar Motor Grader with a training simulator and a Mac truck.
