The forest and sparkling blue lake provide a gorgeous backdrop for a relaxing round of golf. Golf Courses in the Lesser Slave Lake Region
A target style course where accuracy is rewarded, golfers at Gilwood must take care to curb errant shots and keep their balls on the fairway. A ball landing in th thickly treed rough is almost guaranteed to cost its owner at least a stroke. Balls are not always safe on the fairways either, thanks to some strategically place bunkers and a handful of well placed water hazards. The course gives even the most experienced golfers a challenge, which is demonstrated each year at numerous tournaments.
