Fire Services Update

The Lesser Slave River Regional Fire Service is committed to protecting life, property and the environment from fire, hazardous materials, natural disasters and other emergencies. As such, the department issues a weekly report on all investigations, fire prevention activities and other Fire Services news of importance to the residents of the Lesser Slave River region.

  • 1-Medical Co-Response- Unit 306 Heritage Village
  • 6-MVC’s-Athabasca Bridge/HWY 2 & HWY 2A/HWY 2 west 2 KM/Main ST SW/HWY 2 25 KM East/HWY 2 & HWY 2A-Recall

  • Discuss options moving forward for Safety Codes Officers and QMP with Safety Codes Council
  • PPE planning meeting -Assist with new training prop
  • Visited Bonnyville Regional Fire service and Cold Lake Fire
  • Update I am Responding with new options for responding
  • Took delivery of new SCBA fill station
  • Assisted with Fire Smart crew hiring weekend
